the pen and pencil story

There is an interesting conversation between the pen and pencil.  Generally we use the pencil for writing. But always remember that there is a fight between the pencil and pen always. They try to get into your hands and they compete with one another.

Pen: Good morning, Pencil. How are you?

Pencil:  I am fine. Thank you.  What did you do yesterday?

Pen:  My owner had written a two page love letter. This owner is a boy studying in a college in Kolkata. He is a good student and he loved a girl studying in the class. What did you do yesterday?

Pencil:  My owner is an engineering student. He was drawing a beautiful machine design using me.

Pen: Wow! That’s great! Nowadays I am losing importance.  People of all age groups are using smart phones most of the time. They are doing everything digitally.

Pencil: You are right! I am also facing the same problem.  People are involved in watching videos, chatting using their mobile phones. Nowadays smart phones are gaining popularity.

Pen: There are senior citizens who choose to write using a pen.

Pencil: That’s great! I find that I am used in the drawing school! The children love to use the color pencil. They admire drawing. Have you seen academy of fine art in kolkata?

Pen: Yes. There are a number of painters. Sometimes these painters create a pencil sketch. Finally they add colors to their painting.  It is really great to find me in different forms in the stationary shops. Nowadays there are gel pens and normal dot pens.
